Beginning in 2007, The Elephant Listening Project will be working on two projects in Gabon -- in Loango National Park and Ivindo National Park. In both parks, they will be recording elephant calls and other acoustic signals like gunshots to see how they potentially affect elephant habitat use. The Elephant Listening Project also studied elephant calls in Dzanga Bai, in the Central African Republic.
